We believe in a holistic approach to ministry that combines immediate relief with long-term developmental solutions and spiritual discipleship. Each of our programs is designed to reach those in the deepest need, helping them thrive through God's love.

Malawi’s elderly population faces extreme poverty and a unique, dangerous threat: 74% of the population believes in witchcraft, often leading to the harassment or killing of seniors. Our program works to restore hope and safety by providing both spiritual and social advocacy to rebuild community trust. Beyond protection, we provide individualized health care, wheelchairs, food, and medicine to ensure our elders can live with the dignity they deserve.
With an estimated 1.5 million orphans in Malawi, many children are caught in a cycle of poverty and exploitation. We utilize a sustainable "one child at a time" approach, identifying vulnerable orphans and supporting them from primary school all the way through college graduation. We provide the steady presence every child deserves by offering food, clothes, kids’ Bible studies, and mentoring programs, while giving donors the opportunity to pair with a specific child and walk alongside them on their journey, sharing both practical support and the hope of the Gospel.

To break the cycle of gender-based violence and economic exploitation, we empower Malawian women to become leaders in their communities. Our program provides vocational training and startup capital (given as a gift, not a loan) to help women launch and successfully operate their own businesses. By providing micro-enterprise training and human rights advocacy, we ensure that when a woman is empowered, her entire community profits.
At Alinafe, every program we operate is deeply rooted in the Gospel. Our spiritual development initiative focuses on discipleship and mission, distributing Bibles and conducting Bible studies in local communities. We also support church planting efforts and provide pastor trainings to equip leaders for effective ministry. We partner with local churches and pastors to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, bringing reconciliation and hope to broken souls.

Following the biblical call of Isaiah 58:7 to feed the hungry and clothe the naked, we utilize a business-oriented model to create lasting economic independence. Instead of temporary fixes, we provide families with livestock, such as goats and pigs and the training necessary to manage them. This approach turns families into good stewards of their own resources, allowing them to generate steady economic activity and escape extreme poverty.
High poverty levels and a lack of basic resources often force girls in Malawi to drop out of school. We establish Alinafe School Clubs in primary and secondary schools to provide a safe, supportive environment for learning. Beyond providing essential supplies like sanitary pads and books, we educate girls on self-esteem, health, and gender-based violence, ensuring they have the confidence and resources to complete their education and plan their futures.
